DAVE & PATTI AT TOWNES TRIBUTE
hello, everyone. time has almost come to drive north, off to Figino Serenza for another Townes Vandt Tribute Night. Patrizia Ferrarini will be with me and play cajón flamenco. we’ll do a very old Townes song, Blackjack Mama, mixed up with a great Bo Diddley classic that the “poet laureate of Texas” loved to play, and yeah - i mean Who do you love. it’s gonna be a hot number, a warm night and we’re gonna meet lotza new and old friends. in the italian version of this post (below) is the official poster of the show. the picture of this post was taken by me and it’s my Paolo Coriani guitar after i opened Blake/e/e/e’s gig in Modena, Italy, march 2009.
